Lawn mower is one of the most commonly used garden machinery in landscaping, and it is also the most frequently used equipment in lawn management. Therefore, how to properly use lawn trimmers is very important.
1. Preparations before starting 1. Check the engine oil. When checking the engine oil, place the lawn trimmer in a horizontal position and the engine is off. Wait until the oil level is stationary before pulling out the oil dipstick, first wipe off the oil with a cleaning cloth, and then Insert the oil pan to check the oil dipstick position. Generally, there are two scale lines engraved on the oil dipstick. If the oil position is below the lower mark, add it to the upper mark. If the engine oil is too low, the lawn trimmer cannot be used, otherwise it will cause engine failure. But don't exceed the upper scale, too much oil will cause power drop and smoke. It is worth noting that if there is a screw thread on the oil dipstick, just insert it instead of screwing in the oil dipstick when checking the oil position. The oil grade is SE or SF20W/40 or higher four-stroke gasoline engine oil.
2. check the fuel tank fuel level Lawn trimmers generally use four-stroke engines, so pure gasoline must be used, and mixed oils of engine oil and gasoline cannot be used. When refueling, avoid dirt, dust and water from entering the fuel tank.
① Gasoline is inflammable and explosive. When refueling, be sure to stop the engine in a well-ventilated place.
②Do not smoke in the fueling place of the lawn trimmer or the fuel storage place, and do not work in the area that is easy to cause sparks.
③When refueling, be careful not to spill gasoline outside. Gasoline volatilized gas or spilled gasoline is easy to catch fire. Before starting the engine, be sure to volatilize the spilled gasoline.
④Do not overflow the gasoline in the fuel tank. After filling the fuel, be sure to tighten the fuel filler cap.
⑤ Refuel when the engine is cold.
⑥ Refuel to the bottom of the fuel position indicator in the neck of the fuel tank.
⑦Only use unleaded gasoline. If the compression ratio of the lawn mower is 7 to 8, it is recommended to use grade 90 unleaded gasoline; if the compression ratio is 8 to 8.5; recommend 93 unleaded gasoline; if the compression ratio is above 8.5, recommend 97 unleaded gasoline.
3. Check the air filter. Open the air filter cover and air filter parts. Check the contamination of the outer foam plastic filter element and the inner paper filter element. If necessary, it must be cleaned.
